I’m Grant Duff, a Brooklyn-based documentary filmmaker and editor. My work sits at the intersection of storytelling and observation, capturing people, places, and ideas with patience and intention.
I’ve produced and edited films, commercial work, digital campaigns, narrative pieces, and podcasts for nonprofits, museums, and creative teams. Along the way I’ve built a broad skillset in cinematography, editing, color, and sound, allowing me to support projects from early development through delivery.
At the core, my work is driven by curiosity and a love for people. I’m drawn to stories that teach, stories that reveal, and stories that make us consider each other differently. Filmmaking isn’t just what I do for a living, it’s my way of making meaning and helping others feel seen.
What drives me is simple: I care about people and the stories that shape their lives. I love the process of listening, understanding, and translating real experiences into meaningful visuals. Filmmaking is how I make sense of the world, and it’s the medium I trust most to connect audiences to something real.
