I’m Grant Duff, a Brooklyn-based documentary filmmaker and video editor focused on shaping nonfiction stories that help audiences better understand people, systems, and the world around them.

I’ve edited documentaries, institutional films, digital series, and podcasts for nonprofits, public institutions, and creative teams. Much of my work centers on transforming interviews, field recordings, and observational footage into clear, emotionally grounded narratives. My editorial approach emphasizes clarity, pacing, and respect for the integrity of real stories.

My background spans documentary production and post-production, with deep experience in editing, color, and sound. While I’m comfortable supporting projects at every stage, my primary focus is editing and shaping raw material into stories that are intentional, honest, and accessible to wide audiences.

I’m drawn to work that informs, reveals, and connects. I believe nonfiction storytelling has the power to make complex ideas human and understandable. For me, editing is both a craft and a responsibility, an act of listening closely and building stories that resonate with the people they are meant to reach.
